Sean McDowell
Author, Professor, Teacher
Dr. Sean McDowell is a gifted communicator with a passion for equipping the church, and in particular young people, to make the case for the Christian faith. He connects with audiences in a tangible way through humor and stories while imparting hard evidence and logical support for viewing all areas of life through a Biblical worldview. Sean is an Assistant Professor in the Christian Apologetics program at Biola University.

Sean still teaches one high school Bible class, which helps give him exceptional insight into the prevailing culture so he can impart his observations poignantly to fellow educators, pastors, and parents alike. In 2008 he received the Educator of the Year award for San Juan Capistrano, California. The Association of Christian Schools International awarded Exemplary Status to his apologetics training. Sean is listed among the top 100 apologists. He graduated summa cum laude from Talbot Theological Seminary with a double Master’s degree in Theology and Philosophy. He earned a Ph.D. in Apologetics and Worldview Studies from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2014.

Same-Sex Marriage: A Thoughtful Approach to God's Design for Marriage
Same-sex marriage is here, presenting unique challenges and opportunities. How do those who follow Christ faithfully answer the standard talking points for same-sex marriage? And how can they best articulate the case for one-man, one-woman marriage in everyday conversation?

Sean McDowell and John Stonestreet believe a thoughtful approach to God's design for marriage is the answer to both questions. The key is not a contentious attitude towards those who believe in same-sex marriage, but a winsome perspective that is faithful to Christ, committed to truth, and shaped by a love for God and others. Christians need to know that because Christ has risen, there is no such thing as "all hope is lost." They are still called to engage culture even if they are viewed as wrong, illegal and intolerant.
Can You Doubt Towards Faith?
Recently, my friend Bobby Conway released a new book called Doubting Towards Faith. He even gave me the opportunity to write the foreword. I recommend the book to you not because I wrote the foreword. Rather, I wrote the foreword because it is a timely and excellent book. I hope the books helps the many people who genuinely struggle with doubt.

Doubt is not simply an academic issue for me. In fact, I wish Doubting Towards Faith had existed years ago when I went through my own period of substantial doubt. . . .
Marjorie Dannenfelser
Marjorie Dannenfelser
President - Susan B. Anthony List
Marjorie Dannenfelser is the president and an original organizer of the Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List), a national pro-life group dedicated to pursuing policies and electing candidates to reduce and ultimately end abortion. Under Marjorie’s leadership, the SBA List has grown to more than 365,000 members nationwide. Since its founding, the SBA List has helped elect more than 100 pro-life candidates to the U.S. House of Representatives, 19 to the U.S. Senate, and 16 to other statewide offices across the country.

Marjorie has argued that pro-life electoral politics hinges on the ability to reach voters personally. That’s why in the 2014 election cycle the SBA List and its partners, the SBA List Candidate Fund and Women Speak Out PAC, spent more than $15 million to counterstrike the “war on women” – exposing pro-abortion incumbents and turning out voters through an unprecedented ground campaign.

Having helped elect a new Senate majority, the SBA List now continues its efforts to protect unborn children, mothers, and pro-life taxpayers though the advancement of lifesaving federal legislation. In addition to ending taxpayer funding of abortion in Obamacare, the SBA List’s top legislative priority is the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act – a popular initiative to protect unborn children after five months, more than halfway through pregnancy. This bill, which is supported by the new Senate Majority Leader, would save more than 18,000 lives a year. At the urging of the SBA List and top congressional leaders, the five-month abortion ban has also been endorsed by several likely 2016 GOP presidential candidates including Governor Jeb Bush, Governor Mike Huckabee, Governor Mike Pence, Governor Bobby Jindal, and Senator Ted Cruz.

He graduated from Duke University and put himself through a year of Divinity School by teaching karate. In addition to his work as a filmmaker, he has authored nine books, is the founder of Hollywood for Habitat for Humanity, and is the father of three sons.
Living the Braveheart Life: Finding the Courage to Follow Your Heart
More than twenty years ago Braveheart captured the hearts of moviegoers around the world. The film was nominated for ten Academy Awards, winning five. Now, for the first time, author and screenwriter Randall Wallace shares the journey that led him to the famous Scottish warrior and how telling the story of William Wallace changed the direction of his life and career—from that surprising first moment in Edinburgh, Scotland, to selling the script to a major Hollywood studio.

Part autobiography, part master class, Living the Braveheart Life invites us to explore five major archetypes in Braveheart that resonate not only in Randall’s life but in the modern-day lives of both men and women: the Father, Teacher, Warrior, Sage, and Outlaw.

Living the Braveheart Life is a challenge to all of us to engage in the greatest battle of all—the one inside the human heart.
