Melissa Fisher
Writer | Speaker | Church Consultant
Melissa Fisher is writer, speaker, and church consultant. Having seen God's power work in her own life, she is passionate about seeing the lost, broken, de-churched, and unchurched find freedom, healing, and fulfillment in Jesus Christ. Formerly on staff at Gateway church, she now spends her time helping equip churches and ministries around the world engage the hearts of those seeking answers to questions on gender, sexuality, and faith. When she's not traveling in her van, she lives in Austin, TX and calls Gateway Church home.
Way of Hope
Most churches today struggle to answer the same-sex relationship debate that is quickly transforming our culture, our kids, and our churches. As a result, Christians struggle to demonstrate love and grace to those with same-sex attraction. That means that more and more people who are looking for truth and a place where they belong are deciding that the church is either indifferent to their struggle or outright hostile to "people like them."

There's a better way--the way of hope. With deep understanding born from her own painful experiences, Melissa Fisher shows that somewhere between the extremes of condemning and condoning is compassion. In this book, she aims to equip the church to make a positive difference in the lives of those hurting from relational or sexual brokenness. Perfect for pastors, parents, siblings, and friends of the ten million people in America who identify as LGBTQ, who long to love them well.
Nick Novello Show Page
Nick Novello
Dallas Police Officer - Dallas Police Department
Dallas Police officer, Nick Novello, was born in the Bronx, in New York City. He has been in uniform since 1971, having served in the U.S. Navy for two years, and then in the Amy for eight years. In all, he has four honorable discharges for military service.
Nick Novello is a cop straight out of central casting, right down to the heavy Bronx accent he never shed despite more than three decades behind the wheel of a Dallas police patrol car. He looks like every actor who's ever played a cop.
Nick is a fearless, outspoken whistleblower who is determined to make sure the citizens of Dallas are informed of their vulnerability. While he still works as a police officer, he is boldly speaking out against the city leaders who have brought Dallas to this point of chaos. The Dallas Police Department is currently under staffed, under paid, over worked and overwhelmed making Dallas citizens unprotected.
Nick is a spokesman for police reform, believing that incarceration is not a remedy for substance abuse, and that the policies in place, have done great harm to the fabric of our Culture, particularly, black and brown America.
Nick’s passion is the Cross of Christ, where God reconciled man to himself, in the person of his Son, Jesus Christ. “I am privileged to be in Prison Ministry, where I share the love of God with those incarcerated. I could not speak, as I do, but for my Lord and Savior. It is his mandate I speak to.”
Nick provides updates about the dire situation of our Dallas Police Department through social media, primarily Facebook and YouTube. He invites you to review this information so you can be informed about your city and help get this important information out to others.
