John Fund is National Affairs Columnist for National Review magazine and a contributor to Fox News He is an often-quoted expert on American politics and the interconnections between politics, economics and legal issues.

He previously served as a columnist and editorial board member for The Wall Street Journal. for 27 years. He covered the collapse of Communism while at the Wall Street Journal Europe and has reported from over 20 countries.

He is the author of several books, including Obama's Enforcer: Eric Holder's Justice Department (HarperCollins, 2014), Who's Counting: Bow Fraudsters and Bureaucrats Put Your Vote At Risk (Encounter Books, 2012); and The Dangers of Regulation Through Litigation (ATRA Press, 2008). He worked as a research analyst for the California Legislature in Sacramento before beginning his journalism career as a reporter for the syndicated columnists Rowland Evans and Robert Novak.

Roll Call, the newspaper of Capitol Hill, called him "the Tom Paine of the modern Congressional reform movement." He has won awards from the Institute for Justice, The Competitive Enterprise Institute and The Fund for American Studies.

Dr. S. Joshua Swamidass MD PhD is an Associate Professor in Laboratory and Genomic Medicine at Washington University in Saint Louis. Dr. Swamidass' group is funded by the NIH to study reactive metabolites with machine learning. This effort is designed to identify the mechanism by which new drugs could be bioactivated so as to cause idiosyncratic hypersensitivity-driven drug reactions, an ongoing challenge in drug development. Swamidass also communicates science to the public at Peaceful Science. He recently authored an OpEd in the Wall Street Journal discussing "Artificial Intelligence: An Evangelical Statement of Principles."

Ron Simmons is the son of two Arkansas public school teachers. He and his wife of 39 years, Lisa, have three adult children and two grandsons. Ron is a distinguished alumnus of Dallas Baptist University and the co-founder and former Chairman of Retirement Advisors of America (RAA) a $2.5 billion wealth management firm. He and Lisa are active members at Prestonwood Church in Plano.

From January 2013 to January 2019 Ron served as the State Representative for House District 65 in Denton County. In his three terms in office, Representative Simmons proved to be a leader in policy areas such as transportation, disability rights, first amendment protections and tax reduction.

Ron was appointed by Texas Governor Greg Abbott, to serve on the board of Texas Mutual Insurance Company, the largest provider of Workers Compensation Insurance in Texas. In February 2019, he joined the renowned public policy think tank, Texas Public Policy Foundation, where he serves as the Senior Distinguished Fellow for their Right on Work initiative.

Don served as state Senator for Senate District 16, which is essentially the North half of Dallas County from 2015 to 2019. A lifelong true conservative Republican, he has also served as a delegate to many Republican state conventions and as a delegate to the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Republican National Conventions. Possessing a passion for liberty and a desire to solve the big issues facing Texas, Don believes it’s time to expand the conservative philosophy to reach new voters with new ideas, to govern by seeing beyond the obvious, bringing all Texans together to achieve unimaginable prosperity through limited government and cherishing our liberty that God alone has bestowed upon us. In Don’s time in the Texas Senate, he delivered many victories for taxpayers. Don advanced toll-free transportation infrastructure, school choice, freedom in education, promoting the free market and helped lay the foundation to end red light cameras, made the budget more fiscally responsible and transparent, passed a ban on sanctuary cities, and uncovered and fought back against one of the biggest public corruption scandals in the history of our nation.
Born in Dallas Texas, a fifth generation Texan, Don’s grandfather founded Huffines Auto Group in 1924 in the Dallas area which is still family owned and operated. In 1985, Don and his twin brother Phillip started Huffines Communities, one of the largest real estate land development companies in DFW.
Don graduated from UT Austin with a Finance Degree in 1981. He and his wife, Mary Catherine, of 31 years have raised four sons and one daughter, active in Boy Scouts of American and all outdoor activities. His trust in Jesus Christ and the love of his family provide Don his daily compass.
