Michele Howe
Author, Columnist & Book Reviewer
Michele Howe is the author of 18 books and has published over 2500 articles and reviews on parenting, women’s issues, and the empty nest. She has been on Focus on the Family and is featured on CareLeader.org regularly (DivorceCare/GriefShare/Single Parenting resource group). Her books include Caring for Your Aging Parents: Lessons in Love, Loss, and Letting Go, and Empty Nest: What’s Next? Parenting Adult Children without Losing Your Mind.
Preparing, Adjusting, and Loving the Empty Nest
After Empty Nest, What’s Next? Parenting Adult Children without Losing Your Mind, readers asked author Michele Howe for more—covering topics not discussed in the first book, along with questions at the end of each chapter for personal or group discussions. With Preparing, Adjusting, and Loving the Empty Nest, Howe provides expanded practical tips and spiritual wisdom in a three-part primer to help parents in this transitional time of life—helping them look to the future with hope as empty nesters.

Preparing, Adjusting, and Loving the Empty Nest covers new and more in-depth topics related to the empty-nest stage of life. The author invites you to sit down and “linger a while in all things empty nest related—then go a step further and reflect upon the life lessons other empty-nest parents have discovered.”

Stella Morabito
Blogger, Home-School Mom, Columnist - The Federalist
Stella Morabito is an essayist and senior contributor at The Federalist. Her articles have also appeared in outlets such as the Washington Examiner, Public Discourse, First Things, Weekly Standard, and American Thinker. In her previous work as an intelligence analyst, Stella focused in part on communist propaganda and media analysis. After spending nearly a decade in intelligence work, she resigned to stay home and raise her family. At that point, her interest in propaganda overlapped with her observations of the rapidly changing cultural landscape in America. That background also informs Stella's interest in building public awareness of how political correctness and group think corrode human relationships. She has several years of experience with homeschooling, and as a public school parent too. She also served as a substitute teacher. Stella has a Masters’ degree in Russian and Soviet history from the University of Southern California.

The following is from the intro to me at FRC:
Today Stella will talk about the agenda in education called "Social and Emotional Learning" or SEL. Advocates of SEL seek a government mandate to teach it in every school. Stella asks us to explore with her how such a bureaucratically-controlled agenda enforces conformity of thought and attitudes. She is especially interested in how SEL can be used to regulate and control personal relationships.
