Open Doors USA President and CEO David Curry advocates on behalf of those who are persecuted for their Christian faith. In this role, he leads the organization in strengthening and equipping Christians living under or facing restriction, while encouraging them to remain strong in their faith under harrowing circumstances. For nearly 60 years, Open Doors has worked in the world's most oppressive countries, empowering Christians who are persecuted for their beliefs. Open Doors equips persecuted Christians in more than 60 countries by providing Bibles, training, programs to help women and children who have been marginalized because of their beliefs and status in society, and helping to restore communities that have been destroyed because of faith. Curry joined Open Doors in August 2013. He was previously CEO at The Rescue Mission and president at the Foundation for Grace, an organization that provides leadership and management training to nonprofit groups in South America. William A. Jacobson is a Clinical Professor of Law and Director of the Securities Law Clinic. He is a 1981 graduate of Hamilton College and a 1984 graduate of Harvard Law School. At Harvard he was Senior Editor of the Harvard International Law Journal and Director of Litigation for the Harvard Prison Legal Assistance Project. Prior to joining the Cornell law faculty in 2007, Professor Jacobson had a highly successful civil litigation and arbitration practice in Providence, Rhode Island, concentrating in investment, employment, and business disputes in the securities industry, including many high profile cases reported in leading newspapers and magazines.
