Today on Point of View Kerby welcomes back Generations with Vision director, Kevin Swanson. Kevin has served as the executive director of Christian Home Educators of Colorado for the last nine years and has authored several popular books for home schoolers. He will address the issue of Worldview in Conflict and his book with the same title.

In the second hour,  we hear from Gary Frazier who joins us in-studio to talk about his book, Miracle of Israel: The Shocking, Untold Story of God’s Love for His People.

Homeschooled himself in the 1960’s and 70’s, Kevin Swanson and his wife, Brenda, are now homeschooling their five children. Since graduating from his homeschool and then serving as student body president of a large west coast university, he has gone on to other leadership positions in corporate management, church, and other non-profits. Kevin has 43 years of experience in the homeschooling movement and serves as the Director of Generations with Vision – a ministry he founded to strengthen homeschool families around the country. As a father who wants to leave a godly heritage for his own five children, Kevin’s passion is to strengthen and encourage the homeschooling movement all over the world, and to cast a vision for generations to come. For the last 4 years Kevin has hosted a daily radio program – Generations Radio – the world’s largest homeschooling and Biblical worldview program that reaches families across the US and in over 100 countries.

Kevin has also served as the Executive Director of Christian Home Educators of Colorado for the last nine years.
Worldviews in Conflict
Recommended for a Senior High School or College Entry Level Literature Course. Every Christian student should understand the writings that formed the modern world and undermined the Christian foundations in the West. The Christian student should be well equipped to engage the battle of the worldviews before he or she enters adulthood. It is extremely dangerous when a Christian student is taught to accept the "great" thinkers and writers uncritically, whether it be Karl Marx, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Nathaniel Hawthorne, or Steven Spielberg. That is why this curriculum is so needed. The great thinkers and the liberal arts programs have led millions of Christian young people astray over the centuries. This course presents a basic introduction to, and critical analysis of, the philosophers, the literary masters, and the cultural influencers of the last three hundred years.
Dr. Gary Frazier
Founder and President - Discovery Missions
Gary Frazier is a respected and recognized speaker and writer on the subject of Bible prophecy and current events, and speaks in approximately 40 churches annually. He is a former pastor and has traveled to Israel more than 150 times since 1971 and has personally met with every Israeli Prime Minister since Menachem Begin with the exception of Netanyahu.

Gary is founder and President of Discovery Missions International located in the Dallas Ft. Worth metro area. Gary has served as Teaching Associate at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas as well as an adjunct professor at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA.

Gary is Executive Director of Churches Impacting Culture, a church network and resource hub designed to encourage Christian voter engagement.

Gary attended Criswell College, Southwestern Seminary and Louisiana Baptist University. He holds several graduate degrees and has also been honored with a Doctor of Humanities degree from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA as well as a Doctor of Divinity degree from International Seminary in Plymouth, FL.
