The Created Cosmos: What the Bible Reveals about Astronomy
This text investigates what the Bible has to say about astronomical objects and phenomena. The Bible contains many mentions of astronomical things, beginning with creation and concluding with end-time prophecies. Besides the sun and moon, the Bible names groups of stars, Orion, the Pleiades, and the bears. In addition to what the biblical record shows about astronomical phenomena, many people think that it teaches things that it actually does not teach. These concepts are examined in depth as well.
Gene Getz
President - Center for Church Renewal
Dr. Gene Getz is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute, earned a BA from Rocky Mountain College, an MA from the Wheaton Graduate School and a Ph.D. from New York University. He has served as a professor at Moody Bible Institute and Dallas Theological Seminary.

After 20 years in the academic world, Gene became involved in church planting and, in 1972, launched the Fellowship Bible Church movement. Most of his 60 books have grown out of his experience as a pastor. “The Measure of a Man” has become a classic and is used around the world for personal and group study. His books, “The Measure of a Healthy Church” and “Elders and Leaders: God’s Plan for Leading the Church” (both published by Moody) remain breakthrough biblical studies for church leaders.

Gene now serves as President of the Center for Church Renewal and has completed a 7-year Bible project using the Holman Christian Standard Bible. The Life Essentials Study Bible is the first Multi-Media Study Bible which contains 1,500 principles from Genesis to Revelation.
The Measure of a Man: Twenty Attributes of a Godly Man
For forty years, The Measure of a Man has taught hundreds of thousands of men around the world how to live according to God's direction--faithfully, lovingly, and spiritually. Now revised this classic guide to biblical masculinity is poised to impact a new generation of men.

True masculinity is not measured by the strength of a man, but by these twenty biblical guidelines drawn from the Apostle Paul's letters to his young protégés Timothy and Titus. Inspiring, encouraging, and practical, this book shows men how they can reach God's standards as fathers, husbands, and mentors to other men. This updated edition includes QR codes that take the reader to online video resources for further study.
