After a brush with self-destruction and near-death, he and his wife, Dayna, founded SOF Missions, a non-profit organization supporting warriors who struggle from challenges due to combat and military service. In order to bring recognition to this troubling epidemic, Damon produced the award-winning film Surrender Only to One, documenting true stories and struggles of elite warriors.
From military warrior to accidental humanitarian, Damon now devotes his life to helping others. Drawing upon his vast experience, Damon’s first book, entitled Igniting Movements, empowers people to find their purpose and passion in life. Damon travels throughout the country as a motivational speaker igniting that movement.
