Yeatts became president of World Help in 2019, having previously served the organization for more than two decades in various aspects of its humanitarian work, most recently as vice president over special projects. During her time as president, Yeatts has spearheaded World Help’s refugee crisis work in Afghanistan and Ukraine. She is also passionate about fighting for victims of modern slavery and sex trafficking.
Yeatts believes hope is restored when humanitarian work is focused on both body and soul. Her philosophy is that faith can mean very little when people don’t have access to food, clean water, and the medicine they need; but without faith that feeds the soul, meeting those physical needs is just a short-term fix. World Help aims to bring long-term sustainable change while also meeting the immediate needs in communities around the world.
In addition to her role as president of World Help, Yeatts is a speaker and author of Awake: Doing a World of Good, One Person at a Time. Her latest book will be published in 2023.
Yeatts received her bachelor’s degree in government from Liberty University in 1995 where she also studied international relations. She and her husband, Patrick, live in Lynchburg, Virginia, near where World Help is headquartered and have two adult sons.
Secretary Pompeo graduated first in his class at the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1986 and served as a cavalry officer patrolling the Iron Curtain. He rose to the rank of Captain and went on to graduate from Harvard Law School.
Before serving in Congress, he spent a decade leading two manufacturing businesses in South Central Kansas. Mike Pompeo is married to his wife, Susan -- with whom he taught 5th grade Sunday school for many years -- and has one son, Nick.
A road map of the trends and players shaping the world today, Never Give an Inch is more than a historical review of the Trump Administration's greatest victories. It is essential reading for anyone who wants to understand the challenges of the future. And it is an inspirational story of leadership through dangerous times that will leave you with a greater appreciation for America.
