Dr. Barnes is an ordained minister and a licensed psychologist who specializes in marriage and family research, counseling, and training. He has a BS from Cornell University, an MS from Mankato State University, and a ThM from Dallas Theological Seminary. In addition, he has EdM, MPhil, and PhD degrees from Columbia University. After graduating from DTS he served as an assistant pastor for seven years.
