Guests
Burl Cain
CEO and Founder - Global Prison Seminaries Foundation
Burl Cain served as the Warden of Louisiana State Penitentiary, Louisiana’s largest maximum-security prison for over 20 years. Once known as the “Bloodiest Prison in America,” Louisiana State Penitentiary, under Burl Cain’s leadership, became one of the safest, most secure, and progressive maximum security prisons in the nation. There, he founded and facilitated the Accredited Hospice Program, Bible College in conjunction with the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and also raised private funds to build seven chapels for inmate use on the prison grounds.

As a long serving, transformative figure in Corrections, Cain has the ability to motivate and inspire wardens and lawmakers on the subject of rehabilitation. His expertise and passion in the area of prison reform and moral change has steered him into aiding the spread of the gospel through Global Prison Seminaries Foundation.

Cain possesses a Bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University and a Master’s degree from Grambling State University. He is an active member of several organizations. He serves on the Board of Governors of the American Correctional Association, Board of Directors of Prison Fellowship Ministries, and the Board of Directors of the Brooklyn Tabernacle, among others.
Former Angola Warden cleared of Misconduct Allegations
Two investigations into Burl Cain have cleared the former warden of the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola of wrongdoing, with a criminal probe by the state Inspector General’s Office concluding he did not improperly use his employees to perform home renovations.

The investigations into Cain were launched by the inspector general and the Department of Public Safety and Corrections after reports in The Advocate chronicled some of his personal business dealings, which involved people with relationships to state inmates. Cain abruptly resigned in the wake of the coverage.

A third probe by the State Police was launched around the same time to look at one of Cain’s relatives, also an Angola employee, who had been accused of payroll fraud. He too was cleared.
Mike Broyles
Mike has a passion for bringing the gospel message to inmate fathers and mothers. He believes that as these men and woman are reconciled to Christ and taught the fundamentals of biblical parenting, they will then be equipped to start the process of reconciliation with their children. The high probability of these children being incarcerated can then be avoided by their parents teaching them about Christ and encouraging them to form a lasting relationship with Him.

To make this happen, Mike is aggressively spreading the Malachi Dads program for male inmates and the Hannah’s Gift program for incarcerated mothers to prisons and jails across the United States and into the Dominican Republic and Canada.

James O' Keefe and the Washington Post
In the last two days, we’ve witnessed an ugly trainwreck among conservative activist journalists. The crash involved James O’ Keefe’s Project Veritas. That well-funded guerilla journalism group has a track record of investigating and exposing leftist organizations and leaders. It revealed systemic corruption among the federally-funded “community organizers” of ACORN. Veritas got Hollywood environmentalists on tape, accepting the offer of a fake Saudi “oil sheikh” to fund an anti-fracking documentary — in order to boost the price of crude oil.

All that was fun. It danced on the line between advocacy journalism and culture warrior pranksterism. There’s no reason, in principle, why the Right shouldn’t use such weapons. It’s not “beneath” us. The Trump election proved the limits of bringing a Boy Scout penknife to a gun fight.
Bill Clinton Won After All
Two weeks ago, it seemed that former President Bill Clinton was finished as a public figure. A variety of public intellectuals on the left had consigned him to the ashtray of history; they'd attested to their newfound faith in his rape accuser Juanita Broaddrick or torn him to shreds for having taken advantage of a young intern, Monica Lewinsky.

The moral goal was obvious: Set up a new intolerance for the sexual abuse of women. The political goal was even more obvious: Show that Democrats are morally superior to Republicans, and in doing so, shame Republicans into staying home rather than voting for Alabama Republican senatorial candidate Roy Moore, who has been credibly accused of sexual assault of minors.
Sex in America, Part Two
At least liberals are finally telling the truth about Bill Clinton -- and just 20 years after it mattered! Of course, considering it took the Democratic Party a century to discover that slavery was wrong, two decades is lightning speed for these moral paragons.

While edging up to admitting that Bill Clinton maybe shouldn't have raped Juanita Broaddrick and flashed Paula Jones, liberals still can't own up to their utterly hypocritical defense of a president credibly accused of repeated sexual assaults and associated felonies.
“Pocahontas” and Consumer Protection
By calling Elizabeth Warren “Pocahontas,” President Trump has done what no one else could do. He’s made millions of Americans aware of her fakery. And by trying to appoint his own successor, Richard Cordray, the outgoing director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) has revealed the raw, political nature of the agency. Millions are now worried that the CFPB, created in 2010, is a menace.

What you might not know is that Warren, Cordray, and the CFPB are part of the same story. Warren played a key role in creating the CFPB and she still plays a role in the left’s infiltration of our financial system.

In 2013, I wrote a book that described these matters at length. Since you might not have noticed, here’s some background to get you up to speed.
