Nathan Shackelford is the Associate General Counsel for First Liberty Institute and leads our F3 Initiative which seeks to educate, equip, and empower those in their mid 20's to mid 40's to make a difference in their communities and protect religious freedom throughout America. He is the oldest son of First Liberty's founder, CEO, and President, Kelly Shackelford.

Nathan obtained his undergraduate and master's degrees from Texas A&M and his J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law.

Peyton Luke serves as the Media Specialist at First Liberty Institute where she acts as a communications liaison between the legal team and external media outlets. Peyton facilitates public relations efforts for the firm, as well as creates content that communicates to the public why religious liberty cases matter and how the situations can impact everyday people across America. Additionally, she is the producer and guest host of First Liberty Live!
Peyton is a summa cum laude graduate of Texas A&M School of Law with her Master of Legal Studies. For her undergraduate degree, Peyton earned her Bachelor of Science in Convergence Journalism/Broadcast from Oral Roberts University where she was a Honors Scholar and the Outstanding Senior of the Year within the College of Arts and Cultural Studies. She also served as ORU Student Body President and later interned at FOX News in New York City.
