Mary Jayne Fogerty
Executive Director - Thrive Women's Clinic
Mary Jayne is a graduate of the University of Texas where she studied journalism and public relations. She has a big heart for urban missions, especially those related to people in crisis. Her first experience came in 1982 when she, alongside a small group of friends, became sponsors for Cambodian Refugee families. This experience broadened her understanding of those in need and of the many organizations in Dallas who provide help and support. She began her service at the Thrive Women’s Clinic in 2004 as the Director of Development and was appointed as Executive Director of the ministry in 2005. She currently oversees a staff of 21 and a budget of about 1.5 million. Counseling clients and watching God transform their hearts is a cherished part of her job. Prior to serving at Thrive, Mary Jayne was a free-lance writer and a published author of the book, Babysitter’s Companion, a guide to help parents leave instructions for their babysitter while they are working or traveling. She and her husband Bruce live in Dallas, Texas and have three grown children.

Praying Together
Praying together as a couple is important. You know that praying together offers lots of benefits: better relationship, more respect, more intimacy, deeper love for your spouse, better communication, and the list goes on. So, why aren't you doing it? What’s holding you back as a couple from one of the richest experiences in your marriage?

Praying Together offers a guilt-free understanding of the hidden reasons we as couples aren't going to the Lord in prayer as a team. Birthed from their own shortcomings and transformed marriage, authors Sam and Vickie share a model for prayer within the marriage relationship that is compelling, simple, biblical, and powerfully transforming. While each chapter closes with sample Scripture and prayer for husbands and wives to use together, Praying Together equips couples to pray with one another after the book is finished.
