Lt. Gen. (Ret.) William G. "Jerry" Boykin serves as Family Research Council's Executive Vice President. He was one of the original members of the U.S. Army's Delta Force. He was privileged to ultimately command these elite warriors in combat operations. Later, Jerry Boykin commanded all the Army's Green Berets as well as the Special Warfare Center and School. In all, Lt. Gen. Boykin spent 36 years in the army, serving his last four years as the Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence. He is an ordained minister with a passion for spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and encouraging Christians to become warriors in God's Kingdom. Jerry and his wife Ashley enjoy spending time with their five children and growing number of grandchildren.

Mark David Hall has been at George Fox University since 2001. He received a BA in political science from Wheaton College and a PhD in Government from the University of Virginia. In addition to teaching politics and honors, he is director of the John Dickinson Forum for the Study of America's Founding Principles. Mark’s primary research and writing interests are American political theory and the relationship between religion and politics. In addition to having written and edited twelve books, he has also penned more than 100 journal articles, book chapters, reviews, and sundry pieces. His essay, Did America have a Christian Founding? has been downloaded more than 300,000 times. Mark’s expert’s report for the Alliance Defending Freedom in the Barronelle Stutzman case was published by the Heritage Foundation as “Religious Accommodations and the Common Good.” Mark regularly contributes to Law & Liberty and The Intercollegiate Review. In addition to teaching at George Fox University, Mark is Associated Faculty at the Center for the Study of Law and Religion at Emory University, Senior Fellow at Baylor University's Institute for Studies of Religion, and an Affiliate Scholar at the John Jay Institute.
