She joined First Liberty Institute after working for a law firm in private practice, where she successfully litigated corporate fraud matters, complex commercial litigation, and consumer rights issues in both federal and state jurisdictions. Youman received her Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University, where she was a Dean’s Scholarship Recipient. She was also a member of the Board of Advocates, where she successfully argued in off-campus mock trial competitions, and was a member of the Aggie Law Society and SMU Christian Legal Society. During law school, she clerked for the Consumer Protection Division in the Office of the Attorney General of Texas and Liberty Institute.

Bryan Newman serves on the Board of Council for Life as the President of Young Leaders for Life, a group that seeks to educate and involve young people in for-life causes, shaping the future culture of the city of Dallas. In this role, Mr. Newman has emphasized the importance of compassion and care for those in crisis in an effort to unite many against the foe of abortion. Mr. Newman is particularly passionate about the role of men in the pro-life conversation. Having previously served as the Men's Initiatives Chairman with Young Leaders for Life, Mr. Newman seeks to reveal the true nature of abortion as a tool of oppression and to charge young men to join the conversation, working to end abortion through strong leadership and character. In his day job Mr. Newman works as a relationship manager for a software company and enjoys spending time on the golf course and with his new wife of three months.
