Dr. Rick Scarborough is Founder and President of Vision America

Dr. Scarborough graduated in 1978 from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and earned a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Louisiana Baptist Theological Seminary, in 1996.

From 1990 to June 2002, Dr. Scarborough was the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of Pearland located on the southeast side of the Houston Metroplex.

In 1998, he founded Vision America, an organization whose mission is to “inform and mobilize Pastors and their congregations to become salt and light, becoming pro-active in restoring Judeo-Christian values in America.” The advisory board of Vision America includes notable Christian leaders such as Don Wildmon and Dr. Tim LaHaye.

Dr. Scarborough and Tommye, his wife, have two grown children, Misty and Richard, and one daughter in Heaven, Kathryn who finished her assignment here in 2004 at 25 years of age.

Hannah R. Anderson lives in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, where she spends her days working beside her husband in rural ministry and caring for their three children. She contributes to a variety of Christian publications, and regularly writes and speaks about faith, culture and spiritual formation. She is the co-host of the Christ and Pop Culture Podcast, “Persuasion.” She is the author of “All That’s Good” (Moody, 2018), “Made for More” (Moody, 2014) and “Humble Roots” (Moody, 2016).

State Representative Matt Shaheen serves the citizens of District 66, which encompasses West Plano and far North Dallas. Previously, Mr. Shaheen served five years on the Collin County Commissioners Court. Representative Shaheen serves on the Government Transparency & Operation, and the International Trade & Intergovernmental Affairs Committees.Representative Shaheen is consistently ranked among the top most conservative, pro-business legislators in Texas. Matt has been married for 24 years and has three children. He attends Prestonwood Baptist Church and serves as a Deacon, an usher and on the church's pregnancy center board.

Abraham Hamilton, III is a husband, father of five wonderful children, lawyer, home-school dad, Bible Teacher, and national radio and television talk show host. He serves as American Family Association’s General Counsel and hosts “The Hamilton Corner” which airs Monday through Friday at 5 p.m. CST on the American Family Radio Network. He also hosts “The Hamilton Corner” television program, which airs Friday evenings at 8 p.m. CST on the NRB Television Network. Abe has an undergraduate degree in New Testament Biblical Literature from Oral Roberts University and a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Texas Bar Association, the Houston Bar Association, and the Federal Bar Association. He is licensed to practice before all Louisiana State Courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Louisiana, as well as all Texas State Courts. In the legal profession, Abe served as a criminal prosecutor. He handled major felony prosecutions at the trial level. Abraham’s ministerial focuses include Marriage, Family, Biblical Worldview Training and Discipleship Formation.
