First up on the show today we hear from Buddy Pilgrim about the meeting with Trump and Christian leadership.
Dr. Paul Kengor joins us to talk more about how socialism attacks the family, just as its founders intended. He argues that Socialism is not simply an economic system – it’s designed to radically transform culture and social norms that undermine the natural-traditional-biblical family.
Our final guest on today’s show is Dan Celia from Financial Issues Stewardship Ministries. He discusses how Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton’s separate plans would (or would not) impact the economy.
He is the founder of Integrity Leadership, a non-profit Christian ministry he founded in 1998 specifically to teach God’s Word for the workplace. Through the ministry, Buddy preaches in churches, teaches business seminars, and speaks to civic organizations, trade groups and businesses across the U.S. and Europe. He teaches Biblical principles of leadership, business management and financial success applicable to every Christian in the workplace.
As a part of Integrity Leadership, he has hosted television and radio programs called “Getting Down 2 Business.” He also published a monthly “Getting Down 2 Business” newsletter containing Biblical business principles.
Buddy has had, and continues in a long and distinguished business career. His successes include corporate leadership positions, as well as, entrepreneurial endeavors
His Life and Business goal is to keep Christ at the center and to help God’s People give and invest in God’s work. “My greatest blessings and accomplishments worth talking about have been: Coming to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as a result of Charles Stanley’s Ministry, My Marriage, Children, Grandchildren, receiving my Masters Degree in Theology, being Ordained in 2001, and my service in the military from 1971 to 1977. Beyond that, the rest is insignificant.”
Franklin Graham prayed to open the event. Dr. Ben Carson spoke and told us about the Donald Trump he had come to appreciate. Gov. Mike Huckabee served as moderator and sat across from Mr. Trump. Trump entertained questions from the likes of Dr. David Jeremiah, Dr. James Dobson, Tony Perkins, Kelly Shackelford and Sammy Rodriguez. The questions were about religious freedom, Israel, potential Supreme Court nominees and abortion. I thought his strongest answers were about the type of judges he would appoint. I believe he fully understands the importance of this issue and said all his judges would be vetted by the Federalist Society -- a stalwart conservative organization. To me, this may be the most important issue of this campaign from the perspective of AFA and our supporters. After all, the next president will likely appoint two or more Supreme Court justices in the next four years. As we have seen over the last few years, it doesn't matter how many good laws are passed if the courts are going to strike them down.
