Robert and Kerby will be talking about voting issues: fraud, suppression, and coersion. Next up is Gary Bauer, President of American Values. They will talk about some of Gary’s recent commentaries on Israel and other topics. The second hour brings John Stonestreet, President of the Chuck Colson Center for Christian Worldview back to the microphone.
He was a journalist for 15 years, including seven as an editor and writer at the Los Angeles Times. He has B.S. and M.S. degrees in Political Science from American University, and was a Media Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University.
He has held senior positions at the Culture & Family Institute at Concerned Women for America, the Family Research Council, the Heritage Foundation, Coral Ridge Ministries, and the Media Research Center. He wrote and directed the documentary videos Hidden Truth: What You Deserve to Know about Abortion, and The Children of Table 34, about sex researcher Alfred Kinsey.
After leaving the Reagan White House, Bauer became President of the Family Research Council and a Senior Vice President of Focus on the Family.
Bauer took his pro-family, pro-life message across the country during the 2000 Republican presidential primaries and debates.
Today, Bauer serves as Chairman of Campaign for Working Families PAC, dedicated to electing conservative candidates to Congress, and as President of American Values, an educational non-profit organization. He writes a weekly column at Human Events and co-hosts a weekend talk show on Sirius/XM Radio.
In 1973, Bauer received his law degree from Georgetown Law School in Washington, D.C. He is married to the former Carol Hoke, and lives in Virginia. Gary and Carol have three grown children.
Since 2012, John and Eric Metaxas have co-hosted BreakPoint, the nationally syndicated radio commentary founded by the late Chuck Colson. He is also the voice of the Point, a daily one minute radio feature on worldview, apologetics and cultural issues.
Before coming to the Colson Center in 2010, John served various leadership capacities with Summit Ministries, and was on the Biblical Studies faculty at Bryan College (TN).
John has co-authored three books: Restoring All Things (with Warren Smith, 2015), Same-Sex Marriage (with Sean McDowell, 2014), and Making Sense of Your World: A Biblical Worldview (with Gary Phillips and William Brown, 2007).
John holds degrees from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (IL) and Bryan College (TN). He and his wife Sarah have three daughters and a dog, and live in Colorado Springs, CO.
