Dr. Sean McDowell is a gifted communicator with a passion for equipping the church, and in particular young people, to make the case for the Christian faith. He connects with audiences in a tangible way through humor and stories while imparting hard evidence and logical support for viewing all areas of life through a Biblical worldview. Sean is Associate Professor in the Christian Apologetics program at Biola University.
He graduated summa cum laude from Talbot Theological Seminary with a double Master’s degree in Theology and Philosophy. He earned a Ph.D. in Apologetics and Worldview Studies from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2014.
Sean is the author, co-author, or editor of over seventeen books including Same-Sex Marriage: A Thoughtful Approach to God’s Design for Marriage, with John Stonestreet, Is God Just a Human Invention? with Jonathan Morrow, and Understanding Intelligent Design along with William A. Dembski. Sean has also written multiple books with his father, Josh McDowell, including The Beauty of Intolerance, The Unshakable Truth and More Than A Carpenter.

Timothy Mahoney is the award-winning director of six feature films: Patterns of Evidence: Mt Sinai I & II, Patterns of Evidence: The Red Sea Miracle I & II, Patterns of Evidence: The Moses Controversy, and Patterns of Evidence: The Exodus. Tim is the founder of Thinking Man Films and Media, which creates and distributes films on the Bible, philosophy, and science. It's a Minneapolis, Minnesota based international documentary & publishing company.
Tim has spent almost 20 years exploring some of the biggest questions of the Bible and what they mean for our world today. His insatiable curiosity led him on a journey across the world interviewing some of the world’s leading Bible scholars, archaeologists, and historians to seek answers. Patterns Of Evidence: Journey to Mount Sinai
Join investigative filmmaker Timothy Mahoney in his next leg of the Patterns of Evidence adventure as he looks for physical evidence of the Exodus journey to Mt Sinai. Did this biblical event really happen as written in the Bible? Some experts say not, yet Exodus Explorers claim they have found physical evidence to support one of the greatest events recorded in the Bible.
The Journey to Mount Sinai is the first in a two-film investigation following the Israelite's journey from the parting of the sea to the mountain. Many different mountains have been proposed as the true location of Mount Sinai. In the investigation, Mahoney will look at biblical, geographical, and archaeological information pointing to clues as to the real location of the mountain. Can we find this mountain where Moses encountered a burning bush and heard the voice of God commanding him to return with the Israelites?
