Business Woman | Author | CEO and Founder - hammered heart foundation
Business woman Dru Hammer was the corporate secretary and board member of the Armand Hammer Foundation for 22 years. For nine years, she worked with the Los Angeles Dream Center, ministering in women’s discipleship and victims of human trafficking. She is the CEO and founder of Hammeredheart.org, which helps women and children who have gone through difficult times, through divorce and abuse. She is also on the National Board for Childhelp, a non-profit charity aiding victims of child abuse. In 2024, Dru will be launching gethope.ai, an interactive technology platform where she will answer questions about the relevance of the Bible today. Also, on gethope.ai, Dru hosts a one-year walk-through-the-Bible with her listeners in 15 minutes a day.
Dru’s greatest inspiration is her father, Douglas Mobley, who was gifted with a healing ministry and spreading the Gospel around the world. In 1985, Dru married Michael Hammer. The couple have two children, actor Armie Hammer and financier Viktor Hammer. She also has two grandchildren, Harper and Ford, who are the loves of her life.

Hammered
In this book, Dru shares never-before-told details about what it was like marrying into the Dr. Armand Hammer dynasty. She writes exclusively about the emotional pain she endured through a difficult divorce and how she came through it as a more faith-filled person. For the first time ever, Dru shares intimate and anecdotal stories about mingling with world leaders and royalty, the importance of financial independence for all women, and how cancel culture ultimately brought her family back together. Dru writes about her rock bottom moments because she hopes her readers will find themselves in her story or benefit from what she survived.
“I now understand why this book has taken a decade to finish. God waited until I had more to say about how He ‘turns ashes to beauty’ before this book could be completed.”
