For some, Peterson represents all that is wrong with patriarchal culture; for others, he is the Canadian academic prophet who has come to save civilization from dizzying confusion. Regardless of how one feels about him, his influence in North America--and beyond--is difficult to deny.
In Myth and Meaning in Jordan Peterson, scholars across various disciplines explore various aspects of Jordan Peterson's thought from a Christian perspective. Both critical and charitable, sober-minded and generous, this collection of ten essays is a key resource for those looking to faithfully engage with Jordan Peterson's thought.
Dr. Taylor recently accepted the role as president of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and will serve in a dual role through this year. ACSI works with more than 25,000 schools in 108 countries, and helps more than 5.5 million students worldwide receive a Christian education. ACSI also provides services to schools such as, accreditation, legal/legislative assistance, and curriculum publishing.
Dr. Taylor received his Ph.D. in Philosophy in Leadership Studies from Dallas Baptist University (2009); his Master’s Degree from Nova University (1993) and his Bachelor’s degree from University of Central Florida (1986).
ACSI exists to strengthen Christian schools and equip Christian educators worldwide as they prepare students academically and inspire them to become devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
Vision
ACSI will become a leading international organization that promotes Christian education and provides training and resources to Christian schools and Christian educators, resulting in schools that contribute to the public good through effective teaching and learning and that are biblically sound, academically rigorous, socially engaged, and culturally relevant; and educators who embody a biblical worldview, engage in transformational teaching and discipling, and embrace personal and professional growth.
