Tommy Nelson, has served as pastor of the Denton Bible Church of Denton, Texas, since 1977. He is also a national platform speaker for the Fellowship of Athletes, Campus Crusade for Christ and other national ministry organizations. Tommy graduated from the University of North Texas, and then received his Master of Arts in Biblical Studies degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. He has been the speaker for the METRO Bible Study in Dallas, Texas, since 1993. METRO is an inter-denominational Bible study reaching approximately 3,000 young adults each week. Tommy and his wife, Teresa, have two sons, Benjamin and John Clark. They live in Denton, Texas.

Election 2016: A Biblical Perspective
On November 8 voters will make a series of decisions that will determine the fundamental direction of our country—likely for generations. It is considered by many to be a watershed election.

Most significantly, America will be choosing the next President of the United States: Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton.

These two individuals— if we take them at their word, and that is all we can do— stand for two fundamentally different worldviews, models of government, and indeed ways of life. They represent two radically different trajectories that will lead to two very different endpoints.
