Dr. Travis serves as Affiliate Faculty at Colorado Christian University’s Lee Strobel Center for Evangelism and Applied Apologetics, where she teaches courses in the history and philosophy of science as well as the apologetics of C.S. Lewis. She earned a PhD in Humanities with a Philosophy concentration from Faulkner University’s Great Books program, where her dissertation research focused on the natural philosophy and natural theology of Johannes Kepler. She earned a Master of Arts in Science and Religion from Biola University and holds a Bachelor of Science in general biology from Campbell University. She is a Fellow at the Discovery Institute’s Center for Science and Culture.
Dr. Travis is the author of Thinking God’s Thoughts: Johannes Kepler and the Miracle of Cosmic Comprehensibility (December 2022), Science and the Mind of the Maker: What the Conversation Between Faith and Science Reveals About God (Harvest House, 2018), and a contributor to The Story of the Cosmos: How the Heavens Declare the Glory of God (Harvest House, 2019). She is a member of the Contributing Writers team at Christian Research Institute and The Worldview Bulletin. In addition, she is an instructor at DiscoveryU.org, where she offers adult education courses.
Dr. Travis presides over the Society for Women of Letters and is a member of the Evangelical Philosophical Society’s Executive Council.

Jennifer Hall Rivera EdD is the Director of Educational Programs at Answers in Genesis’ attractions, the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. She is thrilled to educate children, teens, and adults on the truth of God’s Word using science.

Her interest in the forensic sciences started at an early age and is credited to the godly instruction of her father, a renowned fingerprint expert. Her experience in the field of forensic science includes employment in a crime scene unit, over a decade of teaching, journal publications, and numerous speaking events.
