Robyn Strader—a nurse practitioner with multiple, advanced degrees—was fired from CVS Pharmacy after CVS had accommodated her religious beliefs without issue for six and a half years. Why? Because CVS wants to force its employees to prescribe contraception even when it violates the employee’s religious beliefs.

Politically and jurisprudentially, it’s not all doom and gloom.

The New York Times reports that Justice Breyer intends to retire from the Supreme Court at the end of this term. If President Biden can pick a nominee who is palatable to the 50 senators who caucus with his party, he will be able to replace Breyer fairly quickly.
