Thomas Boto

Creator of Owlegories — field_542d8190101fc

Thomas Boto and his wife Julie and their four boys are the creators of Owlegories and the Owlegories app on which the animated series is based. They set out to create something unique that could involve their whole family. Thomas is from Texas, and Julie is from Alaska, so they wanted to blend their love for the outdoors with their love for Jesus. They came up with an idea to use the elements of creation to teach their kids about God. Their first project was an interactive storybook app – and the whole family chipped in to help. Aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and even Thomas’ 87-year-old grandfather—contributed their voices for the original Owlegories app. In 2014, after the success of the app, they started production on the Owlegories Animated Series and the Owlegories Memory Verse App. Thomas is a graduate of Baylor University and Liberty University School of Law. Thomas and Julie live in Texas with their four boys Austin, Everett, Gus, and Owen.
