Education has been a constant driving force in the life of Vince Bertram. Growing up in Indiana, it was Vince’s teachers who inspired him to believe in himself and his future potential. After graduating Ball State University, Vince headed back to school as an educator to make a difference for students, much like his teachers had done for him. During a 20-year career in secondary education, Vince earned his Master of Education, Specialist in Education, and Doctor of Education degrees, and served as a principal, assistant superintendent, and finally superintendent of Indiana’s third-largest urban school district. He drew state and national recognition for his leadership and the unprecedented accomplishments of the districts which he served. In 2011, Vince joined Project Lead The Way to make a difference for students across the United States. Today, Vince provides strategic direction, organizational development, guidance, and support to PLTW’s talented team, as well as educators and leaders across the country.
