State Representative, House District 67 — State of Texas

State Representative Jeff Leach proudly serves the citizens of House District 67, consisting of portions of Plano, Allen, Richardson and Dallas in Collin County. A constitutional conservative, Representative Leach has consistently proven himself to be an effective leader in the fight for liberty and to ensure that Texas remains prosperous and strong. Representative Leach has been recognized by leading organizations across the state for his service and impact in the Texas House of Representatives. Specifically, Leach has been named a "Taxpayer Champion" by Texans for Fiscal Responsibility, the state's largest taxpayer watchdog organization and a "Courageous Conservative" by the Texas Conservative Coalition. The Center for Security Policy recently honored Leach with their annual “Defender of Freedom Award” for his tireless work in advancing “American Law for American Courts” – monumental legislation which works to preserve and protect our constitutional freedoms. Representative Leach has also been recognized by leading conservative and business organizations across the state for his service and impact in the Texas House of Representatives including Texas Eagle Forum, Texas Right to Life, Texas Values, Concerned Women for America, Texas State Rifle Association, Texas TURF and the Texas Association of Realtors. Currently, Representative Leach serves as Vice-Chairman of the House Committee on Urban Affairs and as a Member on the House Committee on Economic & Small Business Development. Leach has also served on the House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence and the House Committee on Government Transparency and Operations. Leach previously served on the Policy Committee for the Texas House Republican Caucus. Born and raised in Plano, Representative Leach graduated from Plano Senior High before attending Baylor University, where he served as Student Body President for two terms. He went on to earn his law degree from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law. Named a 2017 “Rising Star” by Texas Super Lawyer, Jeff currently practices at the law firm of Gray Reed & McGraw, P.C. in Dallas, where he specializes in complex commercial and civil litigation, construction law and real estate. Representative Leach is a Member of the Board of Trustees for the Medical Center of Plano and serves on the Advisory Board of Meals on Wheels of Collin County. He and his wife Becky, an author and small business owner, are the proud parents of Brady (age 9), Charlotte (age 7) and Landry (age3). In addition to service with numerous other community organizations, Jeff and Becky are active members of Prestonwood Baptist Church, where they have served for several years in the Young Families Ministry.
