Dan Kramer
Director of Education Services — Wycliffe Associates - MAST
Dan Kramer spent 13 years in the field of education as a faculty member at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. During that time he held a public education job, implementing a program for teaching English to newly immigrated refugee students from war-torn nations.
Through God’s grace and offering, Dan accepted a call in 2009 from Wycliffe Associates to create an English program to serve the needs of Bible translation. Within three years, this program spanned across 25 countries with a trained staff of more than 30 people.
In 2014 the creation of MAST (Mobilized Assistance Supporting Translation), a strategy for training national pastors and church leaders in Bible translation, was piloted in Nepal with great success.
Today Dan manages a staff of more than 60 people and has seen the spread of MAST reach across the globe, bringing Bible translation training to groups that include oral languages, the Deaf, and deaf-blind populations.
Dan resides in Orlando, Florida, with his wife, Holly, where they are raising six children from kindergarten to college age. It is Dan’s desire to see, in the next eight years, the end of Bible poverty around the world.
