Jordan Montgomery Lewis is an attorney in Dallas County, running for the 162nd Judicial District Court. Jordan grew up in Louisiana, starting life in Hammond and finishing high school in Shreveport. He received his B.A. in English from LSU in 2004 and his MBA from Southeastern Louisiana University. In 2010 he moved to Dallas to attend law school at SMU Dedman School of Law. During his second year of law school he began to work as a paralegal for the Dallas bankruptcy firm of Cavazos, Hendricks, Poirot & Smitham, P.C., now Cavazos Hendricks Poirot PC. He worked at the firm throughout law school and would later return to practice law there after spending a year clerking for the Hon. Harlin D. Hale of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas. While at SMU, Jordan worked with Christian Legal Society, eventually serving as an officer. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas (2014) and in 2016 he passed the Louisiana bar exam and was admitted. In May of 2018 he became counsel and Texas Area President for First Guaranty Bank. He and his wife Jessica live in Dallas with their children and pets.
