Executive Director — Save the Persecuted Christians

Dede Laugesen is the executive director and a founding member of Save the Persecuted Christians, which advocates on behalf of more than 300 million Christians experiencing extreme persecution worldwide. Laugesen served as the Colorado coalitions director for the Donald J. Trump for President during the 2016 Campaign. She has been employed as manager, communications director, events coordinator, spokesperson, fundraising, volunteer engagement and strategic consultant on local, state and national candidate and issues campaigns. She is an experienced public speaker. A Colorado native, she studied broadcast journalism at the University of Colorado at Boulder. She owned and managed Windhover Media. She was the founder and president of The Rosary Projects. She serves as the Art and Environment Coordinator for her Catholic parish in Monument, Colorado. She is married to Wayne Laugesen. They have six boys—one Millennial and five Gen Z.
