Dan Garretson is an entrepreneur and thought leader with a passion for technology enabled business and society, particularly in the areas of space technology and development, digital and IT innovation, and smart systems and infrastructure. Dan is particularly focused on the effective use of data and analytics and data visualization to assess and elucidate policy challenges, analyze business challenges in the development and application of technology, and support effective decision making in all sectors. Dan is CEO of Global Fact Base, a logistics focused data, analytics, and workflow automation platform and also serves as a Research Fellow focused on space and technology policy with the Institute for Policy Innovation. Dan’s professional experience includes McKinsey & Company, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, Forrester Research, and the Science and Technology Policy Institute.
