Jerry Kotzman

Station Manager — KDKR 91.3 FM Radio Station

Jerry became involved in radio in college (Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville). Though raised in church, he became born-again at the end of his junior year in college at the age of 21. At that point, Christian radio became his focus. He graduated in 1981 with a double major--a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications/TV-Radio and a Bachelor of Science in History. He worked at several stations in Illinois before moving to Texas in 1984. He worked overnights at KVTT for 25 years, producing Praise in the Night for most of that time. He started at KDKR in 2010 as the broadcast tech. He became program director a short time later, and moved into the station manager's position in 2016. He has been married to his beautiful wife Rose for 35 years. They’re blessed with two awesome daughters. Kayleen starts nursing school at Texas Christian University this fall, and Kaitlyn was unexpectedly called up to Heaven while attending Dallas Baptist University in 2020. Rose and Jerry have held various lay pastoral positions over the years and are currently associate pastors at their church. Rose is a partner services lead at Kenneth Copeland Ministries in Ft. Worth.
