He served on the Assemblies of God World Missions Board and Chaired Lay Ministries for the General Council of the Assemblies of God. He was also honored as Layman of the Year for Pt. Loma Nazarene University and the Assemblies of God, the Billy Graham Award by the National Religious Broadcasters Association, Moody Bible’s 1886 Legacy Award and an Honorary Doctorate from Northwest University.
