Peggy Frazier O’Connor is the owner and Executive Producer of Legacy Films Development, Inc. and the force behind In Search of Steel Magnolias. Peggy grew up as a minister’s daughter, is a trained actress and Christian concert artist, also coaches young talent in singing and acting, has cast films and produced many events and programs for Internet TV channels. In 2006 Peggy established Abrams-O’Connor Multimedia Theatrical Casting Company, casting Radio Disney Superstars, The Life Story of Mahalia Jackson, and the feature film AGENDA, among others. In 2007, Peggy opened Legacy Films Development, Inc. The goal of this company was to develop new content based on true stories and the development of media applications. In 2008, through her company, she was hired to be the Executive Producer in charge of production for a new digital broadcasting company. She produced over one hundred athletic events in venues such as Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas and the Erwin in Austin Texas. Athletic events include the Rutgers, Baylor and Rice College football games as well as the Texas UIL Championship Basketball Championship games. She has created content for The Political Channel, featuring broadcasts included Mayor Kevin Johnson of Sacramento and Mayor Gavin Newsom of San Francisco California.
