Christopher Brooks is the Senior Pastor of Evangel Ministries in Detroit, Michigan. He is host of the Equipped for Life radio broadcast which airs daily on Salem Communications' Detroit affiliate. After graduating from Michigan State University with a B.A. in Finance, Christopher began his theological training at Michigan Theological Seminary. He received his M.A. in Christian Apologetics at Biola University and is also a graduate of the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics at Oxford University. Presently he is pursuing a doctoral degree at Oxford Graduate School. Christopher is the founder of the Detroit Bible Institute, a seminary preparatory institution targeting inner- city Christians. In 2009, Christopher published his first book, Kingdom Dreaming. Currently Pastor Brooks is part of the executive team of E.A.C.H. (every one a chance to hear.)This is an attempt to give everyone in the region (over 3.5 million people) a chance to hear the message of Christ and to take the ‘next step’ in their spiritual journey. He and his wife Yodit are the proud parents of Christopher, Zewditu and Cameron and live near Detroit, Michigan.
