Pastor Lewis Hogan
Founder — DC Cry
For their twenty-five years of marriage, Lewis and Rachel Hogan have served in ministry in a variety of roles. From youth pastoring to church planting, from executive pastor to senior pastor to director of a House of Prayer, from home missionary to founder of a non profit 501C3, Lewis and Rachel have been passionate about the presence of God, the power of prayer, and the cry for revival in our land. Most recently, after pastoring for over twenty plus years, Lewis launched the national ministry Awakening USA in 2012. Founded with the mandate to protect life, promote the role of pastors in America, and to pray for revival and awakening. Awakening USA uniquely focuses on pastors and churches to take responsibility for the spiritual condition of America. At the beginning of 2014, the Lord spoke to Lewis about putting together a national pastors and Christian leaders’ prayer gathering in Washington, DC on April 9, 2016 at the Lincoln Memorial. As a result of this call, UnitedCry was birthed. UnitedCry, a pastor-led call reclaiming America’s future, has been mandated to start a movement of unified prayer and civic action with pastors and Christian leaders for the purpose of spiritual awakening that reclaims America’s future. In addition, Lewis serve as the Texas Bound4Life directors and the Texas state pastors for the Family Research Council. They are parents of three sons.
