Heather Cordasco was a former candidate for James City County Board of Supervisors and is a graduate of the FBI Citizen Academy, the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership and LEAD Virginia. Currently Ms. Cordasco serves on the board of Virginia’s Family Policy Council and is an Ambassador with Alliance Defending Freedom. She feels strongly that abortion is harmful to women – to their health and psychological well-being – and is committed to speaking out against the Health & Human Services’ (HHS) mandate and its threat to religious freedom that requires employers to provide coverage of all forms of contraception, including abortifacients.
