James L. Garlow is the author of fifteen books on historical, theological, and cultural issues, including the New York Times bestseller Cracking Da Vinci’s Code. He is the senior pastor of Skyline Church in San Diego. Since 2011, Garlow has served as the National Chairman of Pulpit Initiative. Garlow received his Ph.D. in historical theology from Drew University in Madison, NJ, in addition to degrees from Princeton Theological Seminary (Th.M.), Asbury Theological Seminary (M.Div.), and Southern Nazarene University (B.A. & M.A.). Jim was married to Carol for forty-two years before her passing in 2013. In 2014, he married Rosemary Schindler. Together they have eight children and nine grandchildren.
