Chelsey Youman serves as senior counsel for Alliance Defending Freedom’s Center for Public Policy. In her role, she promotes ADF’s policy and legislative work at the state level. She advises government officials on strategic pro-life policies and technology regulation, researches and drafts legislation, and provides legislative testimony. Youman also implements legal, testimonial, messaging, and media strategies. Youman holds deep relationships with policymakers and allied leaders across the country. Through these vital partnerships, she advocates to affirm and advance strategic and constitutionally sound policies. She serves as an expert legal and strategic resource for some of the most impactful pro-life legislation in decades. Youman has led multiple statewide efforts to introduce and pass legislation for a post-Roe America. She works on landmark bills to stop abortion drug trafficking and serve pregnant women in need, including the Women and Child Protection Act and Texas Heartbeat Act. Youman serves as a leading voice in the media for the pro-life movement. Her analysis and op-eds run in hundreds of publications, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA Today, The Washington Times, National Review, and many others. Previously, she litigated on behalf of and advised clients regarding conscience rights nationwide. Youman also worked in private practice, where she successfully litigated corporate fraud matters, complex commercial litigation, and consumer rights issues in both federal and state courts. Youman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Texas A&M, and a J.D. from Southern Methodist University.

Jonathan Teague serves as the Senior Associate Pastor of Prestonwood Baptist Church. His role includes serving on Prestonwood’s preaching team and providing leadership to The Prestonwood Network. Launched as a vision of Prestonwood’s Senior Pastor Dr. Jack Graham, The Prestonwood Network is a relationship-based kingdom partnership of pastors across North America. Jonathan also leads The Prestonwood Internship Program which exists to provide leadership, hands-on training, experience, and discipleship to the next generation of leaders called to local church ministry. Jonathan and his wife Michelle have been married for 19 years and have five children: Katelyn, Elizabeth, Anna, Joseph, and Olivia. Prior to coming to Prestonwood in 2011, Jonathan served in various student ministry assignments throughout DFW. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Hardin-Simmons University, a master’s degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Educational Ministries degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Liberty McArtor is the host of the Know Why Podcast and a co-host for Point of View Radio Talk Show, where she has worked as a writer since 2018.Previously, Liberty taught English at a Christian hybrid school, tutored students in English and writing, and wrote for various outlets and organizations, including First Liberty Institute.Liberty earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Patrick Henry College in Northern Virginia, during which time she interned with the National Journalism Center. Before graduating, Liberty also worked as the talk radio producer for WMAL’s weekend show in Washington, D.C.Today, Liberty lives in North Texas with her husband and their two children, whom they homeschool. Merrill Matthews, Ph.D., was for 25 years a resident scholar with the Institute for Policy Innovation. He is a public policy analyst specializing in health care, entitlements and energy issues and is the author of numerous public policy studies. He is past president of the Health Economics Roundtable for the National Association for Business Economics, the largest trade association of business economists. For nine years Dr. Matthews was executive director of the Washington, DC-based Council for Affordable Health Insurance, a health insurance trade association. While he was executive director, National Journal recognized the Council as one of the most effective health policy organizations in Washington. Dr. Matthews served for 10 years as a medical ethicist for the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center’s Institutional Review Board for Human Experimentation. He is the co-author of On the Edge: America Faces the Entitlements Cliff (2019) and has contributed chapters to several books, including Physician Assisted Suicide: Expanding the Debate, The 21st Century Health Care Leader and, in 2009, Stop Paying the Crooks (on Medicare fraud). And for several years he co-authored a column on dental ethics for the Texas Dental Journal. He also serves as chairman on the Texas Advisory Committee of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. He is a weekly columnist for The Hill and has been published in numerous journals and newspapers, including the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, Forbes, USA Today and the Washington Times. Matthews is a frequent guest host on Point of View radio talk show, which airs nationwide. He was an award-winning political analyst for the USA Radio Network, and for several years had a daily one-minute commentary on Sirius-XM Radio. In 2008 and again in 2014, the BBC invited him to star in a program on welfare reform in Great Britain, specifically Wales. Dr. Matthews received a BBA in Economics from the University of Texas at Arlington, an M.Div. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and has a Ph.D. in Humanities from the University of Texas at Dallas. And he is an 8th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
