The cases before SCOTUS have important implications.

The United States Supreme Court is in session, with multiple cases to consider that will have implications for our most fundamental rights, including religious liberty, parental rights, and the right to bear arms. 

Consider

One case the Supreme Court will hear this year asks whether a state can hide children from their parents, if the children claim they want gender transition services. This case comes out of Washington state, where the government has refused to return children to their parents over this very issue. 

Another case from Colorado asks the Court to weigh in on whether states can impose an ideological test on religious organizations receiving government aid. The Supreme Court will also consider a ban on AR-15 rifles, commonly used for hunting, sport, and self-defense. Also on the docket is a case that has to do with how states can ensure that only citizens are voting in elections. 

These are just a few of the cases the Supreme Court will hear this term, but they give you an idea of just how important the outcomes will be. Many of these cases go to the heart of our most fundamental rights as human beings and as Americans. We need to pray for the justices as they hear arguments and deliberate.

Dear God,

Thank you for the constitutional system we enjoy in the United States, and the forethought of the Founders who had the wisdom to separate powers in government.

At the Supreme Court this term, let justice, fairness, and wisdom prevail. 

Open the eyes and ears of the justices and their staff to notice details they need to see and hear arguments they need to hear. 

Please protect our rights to worship you freely, to raise our children according to Your Word, and protect ourselves and our families.
