Congress is finally forcing the Deep State into the light.

When the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets was established in February 2025, it was heralded as the most in-depth investigation of intelligence and political corruption since the Church Committee hearings of the 1970s, which revealed CIA manipulation of the media, violation of Americans’ constitutional rights, and the operation of foreign assassination squads.

Would the congressional investigators find that the Agency and other intelligence divisions of the government had reformed themselves in the past half century, or were they still operating as a shadow government, manipulating our elected officials?
