California AG Sabotages Voter ID Proposal

California Democrats have proven that they will stop at nothing to block attempts at passing a voter ID law in their one-party state. In 2024, voters in the City of Huntington Beach approved a measure that would require residents to show ID to vote in local elections starting in 2026. The state legislature then promptly passed — and Governor Gavin Newsom signed into law — a bill that barred local governments from instituting such measures.
