Edward E. Moody, Jr. has a Ph.D. from North Carolina State University in counselor education, an M.A. in clinical psychology from Middle Tennessee State University and a B.A. in pastoral training from Welch College. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor - Supervisor in North Carolina as well as a Health Services Provider - Psychological Associate and a National Certified Counselor. His unique experience as a pastor, psychological consultant and counselor educator uniquely prepared him to write. He recently published First Aid for Emotional Hurts: Helping People Through Difficult Times, Surviving Culture, and Surviving Culture Parent Edition series. He is also pastor at Tippett's Chapel Church in Clayton, North Carolina.
