David W. Shenk, Eastern Mennonite Missions global consultant known worldwide for encouraging Muslim-Christian dialogue. David was born and raised in a Christian missionary home in Tanzania. For ten years he was involved in educational work in Islamic Somalia and lectured in comparative religion and church history at Kenyatta University, Nairobi, Kenya for six years. Since 1980, Shenk has been based at Eastern Mennonite Missions (EMM) headquarters, Salunga, Pennsylvania, where he helps to coordinate interfaith commitments. He is the author of many books, including A Muslim and a Christian in Dialogue and Surprises of the Christian Way.

Dr. David Murray is the author of The Happy Christian: Ten Ways To Be a Joyful Believer in a Gloomy World. He is also professor of Old Testament and Practical Theology at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary and pastor of the Free Reformed Church in Grand Rapids, MI. He was ordained to the ministry in 1995 and pastored two churches in Scotland for twelve years. Murray’s other published works include Jesus on Every Page, Christians Get Depressed Too, and How Sermons Work. He regularly speaks at conferences in North American and beyond. David his wife, Shona, have five children. They love camping, fishing, boating, and skiing in the Lake Michigan area.
