Dr. Bass’ upcoming book: The Bedrock of Christianity: The Unalterable Facts of Jesus’ Death and Resurrection will be released April 8, 2020. He has also written The Battle for the Keys: Revelation 1:18 and Christ’s Descent into the Underworld.
When he is not working, he is reading, watching movies (usually The Lord of the Rings), and spending time with his high school sweetheart Allison Bass and their two kids Arianna (10) and Christian (7).
In The Bedrock of Christianity, Justin Bass shows how--regardless of one's feelings about Christianity--there lies a bedrock of truths about Jesus's life and ministry that are held by virtually all scholars of religion. Through an examination of each of these key facts, readers will encounter the unalterable truths upon which everyone can agree. Useful for both Christians and non-Christians alike, this study demonstrates what we can really know about the historical truth of Jesus' death and resurrection.
God changed his life forever on June 8, 2002, when he lost all his worldly possessions and distinctly heard God’s voice telling him to come back to Him. God began to restore him and he enrolled in seminary at Azusa Pacific University. After he graduated from seminary, he became a pastor at Rose Drive Friends Church. He realized that he could no longer ignore the troublesome news stories about public policy concerning marriage.
Six years after leaving the gay lifestyle and one month before the successful passage of Proposition 8, God continued His work of restoration when he met his wife, Amanda. They have three children, Aliah, Ryker, & Asher.
His passion is to see California transformed for Christ.
