Caleb Kaltenbach is the Lead Pastor at Discovery Church in Simi Valley, CA. Raised in the LGBT community, he was exposed to how some Christians treated the LGBT community, and grew to hate Christians. In high school, he joined a Bible study to disprove the Bible, but ended up following Jesus instead. Later, his parents followed Jesus too. This is the subject of his first book, "Messy Grace" —holding on to the truth of God's Word while being filled with grace. Caleb is a graduate of Ozark Christian College, Talbot School of Theology (Biola University), and is finishing his doctorate at Dallas Theological Seminary. He speaks widely on the subjects of reconciliation, faith, diversity, and grace/truth. Caleb and his wife, Amy, and their two children reside in Southern California.

Alex recently retired from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department after 32 years of service, ending his career as the Division Chief over the Los Angeles County Jail System. While in his leadership role in the jail system, he was one of the chief architects of Education Based Incarceration, redefining the correctional environment through educational and faith-based programming. Alex spent several years in patrol operations and narcotics enforcement and believed that arresting and warehousing those that broke the law was the answer to addressing the epidemic crime issues in America. After spending ten years in a leadership role in one of the largest jail systems in the world, Alex realized that the only way to rehabilitate an individual from a life of crime was through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. After his retirement in 2014, Alex was named to the Board of Awana Lifeline where he continued in his quest to enhance faith-based programming in correctional institutions throughout America. In March of 2015, Alex was asked to fill the position of National Director of Awana Lifeline. In this new role, Alex will be the primary spokesperson and liaison with local and State government, public safety and community members for Awana Lifeline. Alex and his wife, Janis, live in Southern California and attend a local church. They are the proud parents of three grown children and have been blessed with eight beautiful grandchildren.

Mike has a passion for bringing the gospel message to inmate fathers and mothers. He believes that as these men and woman are reconciled to Christ and taught the fundamentals of biblical parenting, they will then be equipped to start the process of reconciliation with their children. The high probability of these children being incarcerated can then be avoided by their parents teaching them about Christ and encouraging them to form a lasting relationship with Him. To make this happen, Mike is aggressively spreading the Malachi Dads program for male inmates and the Hannah’s Gift program for incarcerated mothers to prisons and jails across the United States and into the Dominican Republic and Canada.
