Dr. Ken Wilgus is a licensed psychologist who specializes in the treatment of adolescents and their families, couples therapy and individual therapy with adults. He maintains a private, outpatient practice with offices in McKinney and Dallas. Dr. Wilgus is a sought-after speaker and regularly teaches on a wide range of topics relating to parenting, marriage, family and faith. He is the author of “Feeding The Mouth That Bites You,” a guide for parents of adolescents. He is also co-founder of “RingLeaders,” a men’s ministry focused on strengthening the role of husbands in Christian marriage. Dr. Wilgus received his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and Clinical Internship at Michael Reese Medical Center in Chicago. He received a Masters degree in School Psychology from Trinity University in San Antonio after completing his Bachelor’s degree from Baylor University. He was formerly the Director of Psychology for the Child and Adolescent Department at the Minirth-Meier Clinic in Dallas, Texas.
