If you have been listening to my commentaries for any amount of time, you are aware of the significant concerns over the way transgenderism has been promoted by physicians, hospitals, and the government. So, it’s not surprising that the federal government issued a report critical of some of the practices with this title: “Wolves in White Coats: How Doctors and Hospitals Pushed and Profited from the Fraud of Gender Medicine.”

Most government reports usually have a title that is ambiguous and benign. When I interviewed one of the authors of the report on my radio program, I began with a discussion of the title. The title was a warning to the reader that they were going to learn about the many fraudulent practices implemented by physicians and hospitals. 

One example is the deceptive use of diagnostic coding for reimbursement. They would use medical codes like “endocrine disorder” or “precocious puberty” to mask what they were doing to young people and get payment for gender transitions. Once patients underwent such transitions, they represented “lifelong revenue streams” for these groups.

Another part of the 64-page report is the section which provides “first-hand accounts from patients and parents” who were subjected to this “gender medicine.” This provides a human face to procedures that were promoted by much of the medical establishment along with federal acceptance from the Biden Administration.

During the radio interview, we also mentioned the Cass Report out of the UK from Dr. Hillary Cass that two years ago raised significant concerns about gender identity services for children and young people in the National Health Service. These two reports show that sanity and common sense are finally returning to this issue.
