Week of Thanks - Day 5
“But we Your people, the sheep of Your pasture, will give thanks to You forever; from generation to generation we will recount Your praise” (Psalm 79:13)
It can be easy to praise God and give Him thanks in the good times. It is just as important, perhaps more so, to give Him praise during the difficult times. Invariably, today we will be reminded of the Pilgrims and that first Thanksgiving. They had endured a terrible winter and suffered tremendous loss. Yet, through it all God was faithful and they set aside a day to give Him thanks. Throughout the generations, God has always remained faithful to His people and today, we as a nation, have much to be thankful for. As you spend time with your family and friends today, as you enjoy the turkey and all the trimmings, make a point to also take time to give Him praise for His faithfulness and thank Him for His blessings. Happy Thanksgiving from Kerby Anderson and the Point of View team! [powr-comments id=496aa8c9_1479503891688]Viewpoints
