The Bedrock of Christianity: The Unalterable Facts of Jesus' Death and Resurrection
Perhaps surprisingly, there is a lot upon which all scholars can agree. When surveying historical scholarship, there are certain truths about Jesus that Christians, agnostics, and skeptics must affirm.

In The Bedrock of Christianity, Justin Bass shows how--regardless of one's feelings about Christianity--there lies a bedrock of truths about Jesus's life and ministry that are held by virtually all scholars of religion. Through an examination of each of these key facts, readers will encounter the unalterable truths upon which everyone can agree. Useful for both Christians and non-Christians alike, this study demonstrates what we can really know about the historical truth of Jesus' death and resurrection.

Jim Domen, M.Div.
Pastor | Speaker | Founder - Church United
Jim Doman never imagined that he would enter the homosexual lifestyle after being raised in a God-fearing home and accepting Christ at age seven. He was so desperate to love and be loved that he didn’t care that his partner was HIV positive.
God changed his life forever on June 8, 2002, when he lost all his worldly possessions and distinctly heard God’s voice telling him to come back to Him. God began to restore him and he enrolled in seminary at Azusa Pacific University. After he graduated from seminary, he became a pastor at Rose Drive Friends Church. He realized that he could no longer ignore the troublesome news stories about public policy concerning marriage.
Six years after leaving the gay lifestyle and one month before the successful passage of Proposition 8, God continued His work of restoration when he met his wife, Amanda. They have three children, Aliah, Ryker, & Asher.
His passion is to see California transformed for Christ.
Church United
Church United is changing and shaping the moral culture of our communities in California. The strategy is to equip pastors as culture-changers by sending them to Washington, D.C. and Sacramento, California for annual Awakening Tours. These events have built a 500 (and growing) California pastoral network. The tours are followed by Regional Briefings and further-developing personal relationships amongst Regional Pastors of Influence. Church United is igniting the fire and desire for change in pastors who are attending the tours.
